Hamzat Incorporated (NE Raheem, b. 1995) is a Nigeria-born artist whose identity operates as an entanglement of corporate entity, public figure, and private citizen. He earned a BFA in Conceptual Art from The Cooper Union in New York and an MFA in Stone Carving from Kyoto Seika University in Kyoto, Japan. Centered on the art of being an artist, his practice spans sculpture, drawing, and branding, treating authorship, labor, and value as materials in themselves. His work adopts corporate and branding structures as both subject and method, positioning names, images, exhibitions, and public interventions as strategic acts of valuation. His work has been presented with Steven Zevitas Gallery in Boston, Jeffrey Deitch Gallery in California, and Harlesden High Street Gallery in London.
