Clare Koury (b. 1993, Richmond, Kentucky) is an artist living in New York City. She a BA from the University of Chicago and an MFA from Columbia University. She is a two-time recipient of the Windgate Fellowship in conjunction with residencies at Josephine Sculpture Park (2021) and SUNY Purchase College (2025), where she presented her first institutional solo exhibition, If You Can Read This Thank The Phoenicians. Previous solo exhibitions include Scaling Laws for an Open EnTrainment Structure at Blade Study (New York, 2025); Desire of the Moth at Disneyland Paris (Melbourne, 2021); and Pulp at Randy Alexander Gallery (Chicago, 2017).
